Qualified Plan Distribution Analysis (QPDA)

Enter all personal information for client, spouse and dependents including names, dates of birth, contact information, and Social Security benefits.

Enter the current value, growth rate, and contributions to the retirement plan.
Enter additional assumptions regarding the distributions from the plan.
Enter the "other assets" in the estate. These assets can supply cash to pay taxes on a IRA to Roth IRA Conversion.  They are also considered when calculating estate taxes to provide an accurate amount of estate taxes attributable to the qualified plan.
Enter in all non-spouse beneficiaries who will receive a share of the retirement plan at the death of the client/spouse.
Enter a calendar year or an age at which the IRA to Roth Conversion will occur.  Conversions in 2010 automatically spread the tax liability equally over 2011 and 2012.
Illustrate distributions from the plan to pay lifestyle expenses, annual exclusion gifts, and pay premiums for new life insurance policies.
