Total Amount

Enter the total value of all non-retirement assets. These assets will be available to help support survivor income needs in the event Client A/B die, and will also be available to help support retirement income needs. You should NOT enter assets that the client would not be willing to sell to support their income needs. For instance, you would typically not include the client's family home. |

Mortgage Balance/ Debt Fund |
If the client owns a home, select "Mortgage Balance" to enter the current mortgage balance they would want to be paid off at death. If the client is currently renting, enter the client’s monthly rent. If the client dies, the analysis will calculate a "Rent Fund" to be provided at death. The "Rent Fund" is calculated by multiplying the "Monthly Rent" amount entered here by the "Years to Provide Rent" on the "Assumptions" screen. |
